Sex Trafficking:

Even more alarming is the issue of tribal young women being pushed into the sex trade in the Santhal region. Reports from Godda district's Buwari Jor block indicate that young women from the Pahariya tribe are being lured into this heinous trade for a small amount of money. According to News 18, a sting operation was conducted to expose this trade, revealing several shocking facts.

To preserve the existence and culture of tribals in the Santhal region, strong measures are needed. Issues like land encroachment and sex trafficking require administrative and political sensitivity.
